Noseong Park
Associate Professor
Noseong Park is a distinguished tenured associate professor at KAIST’s School of Computing, renowned for his groundbreaking research in data mining and machine learning. With over 60 publications in top-tier conferences like NeurIPS and ICLR, he is particularly recognized for his VLDB paper on TableGAN, the most cited paper in the journal’s recent history. His research spans scientific machine learning, deep generative learning, and recommender systems, complemented by impressive achievements including multiple Samsung Humantech Paper Awards and over $3 million in research funding. Having previously held positions at Yonsei University, George Mason University, and UNC Charlotte, Park holds a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and is set to serve as the general chair for the CIKM conference in 2025, solidifying his status as a leading figure in data science and artificial intelligence.
