Changhee Lee
Assistant Professor
Professor Changhee Lee is a faculty member in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Korea University, where he leads the AI-LAB (Actionable Intelligence Lab).
He received his B.S. (2011) and M.S. (2013) degrees from Korea University, and later worked as a researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI).
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2021. After serving at Chung-Ang University, he joined Korea University in 2024.
His research focuses on time-series analysis, with an emphasis on developing actionable and interpretable AI models that enhance model performance and reliability.
His main research topics include multi-modal data integration, prognostic and causal inference for personalized modeling, data-driven scientific knowledge discovery, and interpretability of black-box machine learning models, with applications to real-world problems in healthcare and medicine.
