Presidential Committee Visit NAIRL to Discuss AI Talent Strategy

Representative Hwang Junga and members of the Presidential Committee on Policy Planning visited the National AI Research Lab (NAIRL), the central hub of Korea’s AI ecosystem, to host an on-site discussion addressing the critical issue of global AI talent acquisition and retention.

During this session, top-tier AI experts and researchers from KAIST, Yonsei University, Korea University, and POSTECH gathered to propose practical policy measures for improving research environments, living conditions, and strategies to attract outstanding international talent.

Having actively listened to the voices from the field at NAIRL, Representative Hwang and the committee reaffirmed that securing AI talent is vital to national competitiveness and promised to review policies that will transform Korea into a premier destination for global AI innovators.
