Seong Jae Hwang

Professor Seong Jae Hwang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Yonsei University, leading research in computer vision and medical artificial intelligence.
He received his Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and earned his M.S. in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania and B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
His research focuses on deep learning–based visual understanding, medical image analysis, and trustworthy AI, and he is actively involved in major international conferences such as CVPR, ICLR, and MICCAI.
