Jin-Young Yeo

Professor Jinyoung Yeo is an Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Yonsei University, where he leads the Yonsei Language & AGI (LangAGI) Lab. Before joining Yonsei AI, Professor Yeo served as a research scientist at SKT Brain. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), under the supervision of Professor Seung-won Hwang, now at Seoul National University. During his doctoral studies, he interned multiple times as a data scientist at Adobe Research in the Bay Area, gaining invaluable experience in industry-driven research and innovation.

At the LangAGI Lab, Professor Yeo focuses on advancing research in Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications. His team develops LLM-Driven Synergistic AI Systems that combine the natural communication capabilities of LLMs with structured reasoning and dependable execution. By integrating LLMs with multimodal data, knowledge systems, and autonomous capabilities, the lab aims to create AI that is more reliable, adaptable, and impactful.
